Same program, same version, different error. Only when clicking the "Launch" button: Can't think why other than that my program install location is not "C:\Program Files\Temple of Elemental Evil" but surely that dir isn't hard-coded into ToEEFE ? The other options all seem to work OK. The game works [more or less] fine when run manually but it's annoying that it does this...
Just change the names of data.co8 folder to data and in the modules directory: co8.dat to toee.dat and co8 folder to toee folder. Then you can play with the mods without using Front-End. It's the only way I can play Co8...
Well that's already done, and it works, but I presume ToEEFE 3.80 is supposed to work with respect to launching the game ? so, I see it's not just me...does that mean it's broken ? What's the status of it ?
From what I've heard it's usually anti-virus software that does not allow Toffee to change the directories' names. I tried disabling it but everything remained the same. So I simply got rid of vanilla ToEE and have/play only Co8.
