Howdy all. I'm in the moathouse cleaning up those pesky bugbears.My cleric cast magic weapon on Lareths Staff of Striking and I'm now hitting everytime for 211 damage and crtits of 500. He single-handedly destroyed everything. I went back to town and rested and came back to fight the ogre and he still hits for that amount even though I havent casted it again. I guess I'll start from an earlier save and try that, but it sure was fun. Later
Thats one of the earliest recorded bugs (or exploits). Casting magic weapon on other already magical stuff also has some funky side effects, I believe.
