On Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 6:34 p.m. GMT, Sergio Morozov posted a response in the General Discussion forum thread NZ Troubles... that read: These words of wisdom were the 100,000th post at Co8.org! Yay! Sergio obviously deserves a prize, so what should it be? Does he get a Co8 modpack NPC named after him? Or maybe an autographed picture of whatsername74? Or a year's supply of cucumbers? Let's hear some suggestions ... Also noteworthy are that in post 100,000, GA82 was quoted and Cujo was mentioned twice. But they don't get any prizes - Cujo is an admin so he's not eligible, and GA82 was no doubt just plotting this outcome all along [edit] Just for shiggles, the runner-ups: Silver medal Cujo - post 100,001 GA82 - post 99,999 Bronze medal Scryler - post 100,002 Cujo - post 99,998 Honorable mention sps49 - post 100,003 maggit - post 99,997 All but sps49's were in the NZ thread.
Veddy Kewl. Serg should definitely get something, but a character named after him would really be named after the famous guy he took his screen name from, right? I vote the cukes and autographed pic of whn74. And a commemorative poem by Queen Scry too!
Don't worry about a prize for me. Just being 99999 ROCKS! :joy: I think that we should help Sergio defect to the Unites States, like a ballerina from the Bolshoi. He would easily fit in at any American university. The Math Department of University of Houston, Downtown already has a member from Russia, as well as a dozen or so from other eastern European countries.
I think that's his real name. (I Googled it, incidentally, and discovered no references to famous persons, but Sergio does have a website and blog of his own. The blog is funny* - look it up.) Either way, he could just supply the name of his most favored RPG character or something like that instead if he wanted to. (He'll probably just go for the WHN poster though anyway.) *that's a compliment, Sergio.
Hehehe, Gaear, that is rather strange you had not found out there is a governor in Russian Federation named "Сергей Морозов", he is the head of Ulyanovsk region (Ульяновская область.) Also this name and family name combination is quite common. Good that we Russians have patronymics! And even funnier is the fact there is a man named just like me - "Sergey D. Morozov"(Сергей Дмитриевич Морозов) - who is a teacher and a scientist in my field. He is much more distinguished, wrote some books and is a candidate of technical sciences (aka doctor of engineering, aka Ph.D.) Uh-oh, I think I had mentioned this fact before... But I use my real name, for I have nothing to hide and no one to fear. Anyone can see my name in the lowest row of teachers' timetable of my chair here: http://mhts.ru/study/Default.asp And I have a page in a social net: http://vkontakte.ru/sergiomorozov which is in Russian, so not many will be able to read interesting posts of my students, who always tease me there. I use the page mainly to guide them to the light of rigorous study and proper behaviour. My LJ is very young and I do not really plan on expanding it. Well, maybe with some poetry, real one, not those poorly rhymed loose strings. My site http://www.sergiomorozov.narod.ru/ contains test questions for various disciplines I teach, nothing very interesting. Oh, and it was done by an automatic site creator built-in into yandex's ".narod.ru" free hosting. And I do not want any "reward" unless all Co8 content creators get it first, because they surely deserve a reward more than someone who did not contribute anything. (On the other hand, being immortalized as a level 27 paladin sounds good! Too bad ToEE only allows for 20 levels... I guess I'll have to settle for an autographed photo of Scryler and a poem from WHN. Yep, just like that, this way we will know how Scryler looks and how WHN writes poems! New knowledge, cool!) me -> oke: <- me too
Remember - even the fine gravel beach of San Fruttuoso, full of luscious (and often young and naked) Italian women could not make me "defect"
On my way through the mountainside there I had come across a private hotel named "Albert's Guesthouse" with a wooden plaque near the door, upon which a phone number was burned: +39-340-0566636. It provides a good place to start defecting, I guess.
You can keep the noodles with marinara sauce. I prefer the other lusciousness previously mentioned. Oh, yeah, Sergio - don't defect. We'll be more "socialist" than you before long the way we're going. Unless you plan to defect to Wisconsin.
