Why is it that the default for a Google search is 'marginally similar to your query' instead of 'exactly what you asked for?' Guess what: when I ask for information about stratus clouds, that does not actually mean I want information about cumulus clouds; because if I had wanted information about cumulus clouds, I would have asked for information about cumulus clouds, not stratus clouds. Is that really so outlandish a concept?
I started using "Bing" instead for a search engine, it's not as bad. It still wants to think for me though, it's just a little dumber.
Barnes and Nobles is dying. They went up for sale today. Anyone else think they may go the way of Blockbuster and Movie Gallery? Digital is the future...
I think the stingrays are having an uprising. One of them almost killed a 10 year olf kid now... http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/38769100/ns/today-today_people?Gt1=43001
Here comes Big Brother. http://www.fastcompany.com/1683302/...-world-welcomes-big-brother?partner=yahoobuzz Thank you, Yahoo.
The Brother is really BIG, while, he is NOT welcome. As someone complain, that truly is the beginning of the end of what's left of our freedom and society. Corporations and government will finally have absolute and total control on everything of everyone.
I had to bring this up because it's far too ridiculous to be kept quiet. The Whizzinator! I can't believe someone actually posted an ad for this on Craigslist, lol. http://duluth.craigslist.org/for/1908457153.html
It COULD be used for a few practical jokes, I guess. But I think the original purpose was to separate morons from their cash, just as now.
It's really no worse than the never ending adds we see everywhere offering things we don't need or want at a price we never should have spent. Example; look at the flash player at the bottom of this thread. Do they really think we're stupid enough to believe that's a news broadcast?
Iris scanning will not help, if I will wear completely opaque glasses! Mwhahahaha! Eat THAT, Big Brother! Wait, but how will I see my way then?...:dizzy:
No, ours have grown well past the kitten stage. That's Sir Puff an upcoming and soon to be, "ferocious attack kitty" on loan to us from the 3rd battalion 7th Mouse-er Regiment.
Google news reports a gigantic traffic jam in China, outside of Beijing. If I understand the article correctly, the jam has lasted for 10 days with no end in sight for a month. I don't know if the trucks stuck in the jam have been there the entire time, but that's what it sounds like.
Lolololol... Mom throws away action figures, son burns down house August 25, 2010 • 12:12 pm By Diana Fasanella A Japanese man has pleaded guilty to burning down his family’s home after his mother threw away some of his toy robots. Yoshifumi Takabe told Kobe District Court in western Japan that he became suicidal after losing the toys, which he says were partners with which he wanted to spend his life, ABC News reports. In retaliation, Yoshifumi, a factory worker who lived with his mother, torched the home because he wanted to die in the fire with his other robots from the Gundam 1970s space wars animated TV series. The 30-year-old’s mother told the court that she had long complained about the toys that were cluttering the house. She said there were enough to fill 300 boxes. The blaze on Aug. 9 of last year completely destroyed their two-story wooden house. No one was injured. Where’s r2d2 when you need him? If the new modpack doesn't come out in a timely manner, I'm going to do something drastic! I was planning to spend the rest of my life with ToEE and Co8, just like a regular marriage! I expect the exact same commitment from my chosen partner!
