Mod Tutorials? (also, where do you put your "edited" files)

    Is anyone working on any mod tutorials?

    Also, where do I put a file once I have changed it.

    For example, if I make changes to protos.tab or start_equipment.mes, where do I put my altered files?

    I'm working on this as we speak, along with another project or two. Since I lack in actual coding or art skills, I figure it is the best way I can contribute.

    files

    files go (generally) in the same dir they were a part of e.g.

    start_equipment.mes
    protos.tab

    were found in \rules\ folder so must be placed in the

    *root dir*\data\rules folder e.g.

    c:\program files\atari\templeofelementalevil\data\rules\
