Should CRPG Paladins (in any CRPG game) be exempt from falling?

  1. The capability to fall should be optional, off by default

If my Paladin falls because of the Curry Leaf, he is going to tear that little behind UP. Beyond redemption. :transform

So paladins can fall for begging too? Man it's tough being the good guy. No wonder there are so many villains to slay in rpgs.

    Beggaring, not begging.

Not to be confused with buggering, which should indeed make a paladin fall, at least in some southern states of the US.

    Who? is the curry puff?

According to the dictionary beggaring = beggar = soliciting alms for a living.

    buggering = sodomy...

So is it begging or sodomy that gets paladin to fall in TOEE?

PS. It doesn't MATTER about how many ways there are in TOEE to fall. I was asking in ANY CRPG DnD game for a reason. This is explicitly bigger than just TOEE.

So, you are saying non orthodox jews and christians are window dressings?
protestants are not orthodox but allowing for a protestant priest vs just catholics is somehow reducing their "diverse faith" into "window dressing"?
I disagree... and do recall that paladins can worship any number of gods with different laws and values. Just as Christian Priests or Jewish Rabbis can be of any number of sects.

    To clarify:

beggar (noun) - one who begs

beggar (verb) - to make (someone) into a beggar

bugger (noun) - one who enjoys insects

    bugger (verb) - uh...

    Thankyou.

Taltamir: Protestants don't have priests, they have ministers - its one of the big differences between Catholics and Eastern Orthodox on one side, and Protestants on the other (so to speak). Might be worth sticking to the Jewish metaphors, lest someone gets accidently upset (you never know with religion).

The Curry Puff is a facetious name for that woman you find on lvl 4 with the Wheelwright's wife.

bugbearing - getting a little too friendly with the female bugbears in the temple.

bugbearbuggering - getting way too friendly with the male bugbears in the temple.

barebugbearing - bugbearing without appropriate +2 Trojans.

bugbearbearing - a likely consequence of barebugbearing.

bugbearbugging - warrantless electronic surveillance of alleged bugbears remains a controversial issue.

Catholics believe in a chain of command to God.
Priest, Bishop, ArchBishop, Pope or Patriarch.
Protestants, other than Anglicans who are infact Catholics, believe that when 1 or 2 are gathered together... ect

    Quite.

Priests offer a sacrifice: ministers don't. Seriously, lets not get derailed by this.

So what is the general consensus? Paladins should be fall but give some warning so that players may know that there will be consequences for their actions?
