    Hello

Some of you can be interested in a new computer implementation of Blood Bowl game. The oryginal was created as a tabletop game by Games Workshop and this year it was released by Cyanide http://www.bloodbowl-game.com/.
It is a quite faithful version and it is turn based (there is a real-time option for mainstream, but I consider it not worth my time).

I think Cyanide made "Chaos League" which was basically the same game but with real time as standard. I heard they wanted to obtain the licence for Blood Bowl from GW but failed. Well, it seems that now they've succeeded. :)

I wish that after a licence agreement with GW for Blood Bowl Cyanide made other GW Specialist Games, like Necromunda or Mordheim.

I have been playing Blood Bowl since '99 so a PC version was a great news for me.

This would be wonderfull...a pc conversion of mortheim, necromunda...wow!
I play the GW-Games about 15 years, and thats longer than i playd AD&D.
But the RTS they have made out of 40K is not my thing.

I have silently ignored Dawn of War and Chaos Mark games, as the only think they share with Tabletop is universe, not rules.
I am afraid that GW won't give anyone permission for faithful adaptation of their mainstream games, but I hope they will agree to do so with discontinued "specialist" ones.

I have never read them, but they are available to you by amazon.de
If you don't plan to buy them via amazon you can check ISBN codes there.

Hmm, I've been considering getting the game for a while. It looks fun and has a turn-based system... Then again, it's supposed to be related to American Football? That's pretty boring to me.

I played an old version and absolutely loved it. It uses a warped version of US rules, but is not a simulation. It uses fantasy races on the teams, and you can run, pass and tackle, but with very amusing results. Like splatting opponents till the KO or kick the bucket. No idea how well the new version is, but I know when it comes down in price, I will be buying the game.
