Hello. Scroll #9000 (ie, the very first scroll in the 9000's section of description.mes where scrolls live) is called 'The Red Scroll". Has anyone seen it in game? Its taking up valuable real estate.
It's used by the Nazi's against Captain America in a random encounter, right after meeting Zaxis.... Or was that Red Skull...
You weren't expecting anything but spam with a topic like that, were you? Anyway, I don't recall running into any scroll labeled so in any playthrough. Sounds like some sort of template (would make sense, it being the first scroll in the list). Also, is there really such a dearth of scroll slots? What's wrong with the 9700+ range? Or were you really just trying to elicit spam on purpose...?
Captain America fought the Red Skull. I remember a comic book character called Krull, but he wasn't red.
Truly, I always expect spam. You should see the replies we get to the registration email. But I am asking because 9000 is scroll 000, which corresponds to spell 000, which happens to be Acid Fog (which I just added). So I need that scroll.
Er... Is that a real question? There are a lot of spam here, really... and I'm not sure if that scroll question was a real one (question) or a joking, but well, as I'm not exactly good to catch tose things, I honestly have never seen a red scroll on the game - at least not with this name, but something come to me right now: It can't be a generic name of one of that scrolls with a red tag on, that it's not normally readible, like the sealed letter or something?
I think "red scroll" refers to the ribbon binding on the scroll itself, holding it rolled up. All scrolls have a certain colored ribbon on them like blue, yellow, red and green, I think. I don't believe the ribbon color of the scroll denotes any significance of the scroll, like red=wizard/sorcerer spell, blue=cleric/druid spell, etc.
Well, Ted's OP was asking about an item called Red Scroll - apparently a real item in the game engine that he wants to make sure isn't actually being used for anything. The ribbon colors binding the scrolls, and the colors of potions, are set according to the school of the spell they contain. I don't remember exactly what colors are what, but I do remember the modders made a change a while back that made all the scrolls and potions match their spell school colors.
These are the colors: abjuration - orange conjuration - dark blue divination - yellow enchantment - light blue evocation - red illusion - gray necromancy - purple transmutation - green They apply to wands too. Yay! I've never seen the mysterious 'red scroll' item.
A new spell! Acid Fog. You cast it and a haze of red fog rolls over the area and damages anything within it.
