Couple of questions about which patches I should use. If I were to start a new game in TOEE, should I use Troika's #3 patch because I see patch #2 referenced a lot here? Will Liv's mod work with patch #3? Are there any fan patches/mods that work with #3 that I should look at? Thank you for your time. Also, I thought Circle of 8 had a website, but i can't seem to find it.
http://www.co8.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1372 This is what everyone recommended to me. I think that people avoid patch 3 because the problems it fixed had already been fixed by fan patches. Plus patch 2 with Co8 has been extensively play tested.
You should install Livonya's stuff overtop of Atari 2 and Co8 3.0.4. She outlines it in detail in her Beta 1 thread.
Thank you. One more question, in her thread about her mod, at the top she posted the download of her mod and throughout the topic she said she made changes to the mod, did she rechange the mod at the top to have the new fixes already in it, or do I need to download those two fixes separately?
I forgot all about Troika's 3rd patch. I never installed that. So just ignore it. As for the changes... I added those to the main download. So you can either add them manually (for those that already downloaded the main file), or you can just download the main file and ignore those additions. As I make more additions/changes I will post a new edit at the top of the file with info... I will start dating those. - Livonya
