Hi there, is there a faster way to sell items then dragging items from right to left over and over? I'm looking for something like shift-right-click (but not that since I just made that up). Thanks for making this buggy game awesome by the way. Turn-based D&D is the best. (I tried to search the forum and the web for this, but I wasn't able to find anything. I'm not even sure how to call what I'm looking for so let's say it's called quicksell hotkey ^_^) Thanks,
Summon your wizard's familier; fill it's invteory with sellable items and talk to a trader. It'll sell them all and then just transfer the money to a pc.
Ha ha, good one. Sadly, dragging inventory to my familiar is similar to dragging to the shopkeep. Thanks for your input,
Someone should sticky this. I've played since 2004 and never knew this. I googles faster selling etc today....and now there's a post about it! Now all I got to worry about are my corrupted saves....sigh.
Well.... you could just collect the high value items.. such as gems and obvious magic items, and leave the regualr stuff. If that causes you to be short on cash, just Console some in
Its a downside of Humble NPCs: I used to fill the NPCs with leather boots, gloves, armour etc, then stop at the leather trader when I got back to town before heading to the Inn (its right next to the spawn point) and hey presto, the moment you talk to the leatherworker, everything is immediately sold. The money gradually built up and meant NPCs could pay for their own resurrection later.
Ok dump question. Erm...how do I fill the inventory of my familliar! I got this green toad in *My* inventory...how do I open the toad? I've got humble NPC on. Do I need to switch it off? No biggy since I hardly ever use them...the xp leachers they are!
Just "Use Item" at the bottom of your inventory. You will need to "Talk" to your familiar (from the radial menu) to get It back INTO your inventory and into safety. It DOES use a party member slot when it is out of your inventory and CAN be killed.
I think (without checking) that it only uses a party slot if there is one available, otherwise it is added like an animal companion / commanded undead / mercenary. I think. Less control in combat that way, of course - more likely it will charge ahead and get killed.
I've decided to do as Maalri suggest, and only loot somewhat valuable stuff. I do miss leaving naked bodies all around though. All I was searching for was a simple key to quicksell what I'm hovering with the mouse in shop view, instead of breaking my wrist dragging it all the way to the merchant's inventory. Oh well, guess there are none.
The only problem with doing it that way is an environmental one. All those leftover weapons, armour, and clothes... littering up the landscape you are!! oke:
