Hello all! I made a account on here a long time ago and just started picking up TOEE again recently using the CO8 5.5 beta (awesome btw!). I have explicitly followed the installation instructions and the game functions normally. My only issue is that i thought there was an opening screen added to the game where you could actually purchase starting equipment if so desired. I have started at least 3 games now and have had no such screen. Is there any suggestions for this issue? I have looked in the new front end and don't seem to see the option anywhere (if there is one). Thanks for the help on this in advance. edit: I also have the CO8 modpack status set to active on the front end.
It starts with the regular intro in the alleyway where you kill the guy who killed the priestess. As far as the neutral-good alignment intro.
Yes actually i did a little more research and found this may solve my problem. My anti-virus gets pissed when i try the 16k exe file though. Says its a trojan. I managed to get it in the right folder anyway but when i open the front end it tells me that it's failed and must close the program. I am running vista i don't know if that makes a difference
I don't have vista and maybe am the wrong person to address the issue, but I had to disable my anti-virus to get everything through. Afterward, I was able to run the anti-virus again with no problem.
Check the backdoor virus warning thread,I found a 'virus' warning is actually a Hasbro program downlaoded each time you start the game,lol... My Windows defender alerts me every time I start TOEE. I delete the file then it appears again when restart,so it not a download issue,it is in exe.
