even with the crack, i stll have looting and mm problems

it was very frustrating. i was playing the game ("vanilla") and got looting problems.

ok, so i did all the things said here int the foruns. now, i have started a second time, with c8 mod. its reat, very funny to play!

but now i have faced my firts enemy (the deklo spiders and kobolds.), but now i got the magic missle problem and still have the loo problem.

have read aboud the .dll and crack thing, and i have downloaded teh crack archive (even before start playing that second time), but still have these 2 problems.

any thoughts?

 

What version of the no-cd are you using? When using the Co8 mods, you should use the version 2 which is very small - around 38kb IIRC. The version 1 no-cd has the old .dll bundled in it and is much bigger, but is not compatable with any ToEE game patched to Atari patch 2 - including the Co8 mod.

will i have to do all the instalation process again? and start all again? (not such a big deal, im only in the begginig of the game, but still..)

 

Just find the correct no-cd and replace the ToEE.exe with it. You shouldn't have to uninstall and re-install - but if you're fairly close to the beginning, starting a new game is probably a good idea.

 

i know i didnt hit "apply" on the first contents board that pops up
since it was my first time playing i didnt know i didnt have the patch installed or not.
