Yes, the preset tabs are not working properly in 5.0.6 (nor in 5.0.4 if mempry serves me right). I do not recall using them much anyway, but afair they were fine in 5.0.0 and earlier. Definitely worked in vanilla.

Thanks. I can escape from both by leaving town and coming back. So it's not too bad. I'll keep an eye out for it in the posts.

I couldnt help but notice that the bartender in the tavern in nulb has unlimited gems and silvernecklaces is you slight of hand them. Although you can only pickpocket the magic shield once. I am selling these items right back to him but I thought once it hit his inventory that I wasnt exactly the same as being on his person...

Basically an unlimited source of money if your sleight of hand is decent, is this normal?

^ Hmm, that bug did not exist before afaik. You could only steal a shiled, a scarab of poison proof and a bunch of gems, and he would not buy back most of it...

Havent yanked the scarab, but then again I may have bought it before I figured this tactic. Was getting kinda lax about my rougish behaviour, but right back on track with this routine.

Yeah, he buys back everything, should only buy back once and not let you yank it and sell again

I've re-yanked and resold gems to the jeweller in Hommlet before. It might be something similar.

Hmm, weird... i think other traders don't let you do that? Or is it because he's the only one to buy stolen stuff?

But boy, that guy has huge pockets, full of holes too! :)

Yup I can confirm this. Encountered it last night on a trip from the Wench to the Woodcutter. Easily fixed by exiting map and returning. No "combat statnce" issues leaving any buildings yet.

That's where the problem was the worst for me.

Deleted old game at 7 lvl, and restarted (so I could "play with myself"). No problems yet. But it seemed to be worse as the game advanced. Will inform.

Encountered that twice during my playthrough. Mostly happened in the heavily modded areas though (verbobonc or hickory, don't remember). A save and then restart of the game seemed to solve the problem though.

Gentlemen, I have looked in the last ten pages of your thread and not found this (and yeah, it's entirely possible I looked badly, but whatever :p), so here you are:

In Hommlet, after one solves all of Filliken's little problems, one can go back to the widow Mathilde and get a kinda weird little set of dialogue options - one of the 'Can I ask you a question?' style responses remains longer than it should, so you get something like:

    1) Can I ask you a question?
leads to -> - So are you going to buy that farm for wossname, etc?
and -> - I must leave now. (exit conversation)

    2) Can I ask you a question?
    -> How's that old guy you're dating?
-> (Some other option I forgot the gist of)
-> I have to leave now. (exit conversation)

    3) Goodbye. (exit conversation)

All very rustically stylish, but I suspect CMF 5.0.6 has a snarl in the Mathilde dialogue tree somewhere.

    Hope this wasn't repetitive.

I have tried to cast Dominate Monster on Glabrezu Guardian, and spell fizzled and printed an explanation: 'target is larger than medium size'. Looks like spell script checks, if the creature to be affected is smaller than Huge. Since spell description does not mention size limitation, I think this is a bug.

[Tagging corresponding lines in spell script as comments allowed me to dominate Glabrezu. That was cool.]

[On the the matter of frozen in battle poses PCs - I had this issue once after exiting inn in Hommlet. Reloading save helped.]

Also Rod of Thunder and Lighting adds 2d6 Electricity damage to every attack of wielding creature, not only to attacks made with it. I think this was not intended, but adding 2d6 damage as ability to it caused this.
And this rod is described very differently in d20 srd.

Just encountered this problem myself a few days ago, after returning to Hommlett. Again, moving off the map and back cleared up the problem.

Running v5.0.6 with the old FE. No otehr issues and this one is a minor one, at best.

I don't get this. You mean the NPCs are just standing there frozen? Can you talk to them? If the PCs are frozen, how did you move?

Nope, it's everyone in the party, NPC's included. They're all locked in "combat stance" mode and the game sort of "freezes" up. The music and background sounds play, but you cannot move or interact with any PC or NPC. Going to the world map, traveling to say, Deklo Grove and then back again solves this issue. In fact one you leave the map for a new location, the issue clears.

Only had it happen in Hommlett right near the Inn and had the disappearing blue circles issue on the way from the In to the Woodcutters. Almost to the letter from GA82's prior posts. No weird effects when exiting any buildings in Hommlett. All the other maps/areas/etc all seem to be clear of these issues.
