Revisted: #19. Verbobonc Doesn't Appear on the Worldmap

    Apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere, my search of the topic didn't bring it up.

    In the Common Issues and Solutions thread, it states:

    Well, the problem I have, is that Verbobonc does appear in my maps, but only in the current map, not the world map. Clicking on Verbobonc only brings up the image of the town itself, and I cannot travel there.

    I`m currently using ToEE with Atari Patch 1 and 2, as well as 5.0.0 mod, with the cache cleared on startup.

    If it helps, I was also sitting directly under the Earth`s sun with a slightly westerly breeze holding a dead chicken in the hand of my outstretched left arm while singing a jaunty tune about playing ToEE. :twitch:

    How do I solve this problem :scratchhe

    You mean to tell me if you go to maps and click on world maps, that verbobonc does not appear in the the "list" on the right side of your screen of places you can go? Hmmmm

    If you're using the straight 5.0.0 mod, Smithers, with no CMF updates, then thats why. Verbobonc was only attached to the worldmap around CMF 5.0.3 or so, if my poor overworked brain does not delude me. You need to get there via prisoners in the Temple.

    If you're using Co8 5.0.0 but not the CMF, your options to get to Verbo are limited. You have to have someone take you there. At some point, the CMF included a fix to that problem that puts Verbo on the Worldmap. I'd suggest downloading and installing the CMF, but if you do, you will have to restart, as all your old savegames will no longer work.

    *sigh* looks like another fresh start at the game for me :)

    Oh well, at least I have the fun of doing it all again
