    What about:
    -Hattori Hanzo, Ranger/rogue(Ninja,Hatori Hanzo steel)
    -Conan
    -Odin,Cleric
-Raistlin(NE) or Elminster(CG), honestly I can't think of more epic wizards!!!!
    -Taliesin,Bard

I have played a Drizzt party. I deeply enjoyed it! It is true that is difficult to start with dual wielding scimitar but at higher levels it rocks!!!! You can still start with one scimitar and elvish shield if you like....

Just got done making my iconic party, though many of the characters are the same as Shadow's, a few are different.

    Druid: Merlin
    Rogue: Bilbo Baggins
    Cleric: Galahad
    Ranger: Robin Hood
    Sorcerer: Circe

One thing I noticed is that most of these are human. What about iconic demi-humans?

Merlin's father was an incubus according to many stories, that's how he got his power. So I don't know, you could use a Half-Elf there? Circe was a demon, not just a witch, in some versions of her tale too, I believe. Elf?

If you don't want to base too many demihuman characters on LOTR stars, there are some more or less famous ones from RPG webcomics. Belkar Bitterleaf, CE Halfling Ranger/Barbarian is iconic enough for me ... http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0001.html

Cetali: in fact nobody knows if Belkar is evil, since he always had his lead shield with him when the paladins wanted to scan him. He might just as well be a chaotic neutral...

I remember that post - one of the greats. :mrhappy:

Belkar is as evil as can be without actually making him the villain.

I think there was a reason unholy blight didn't affect him too, that early in the strip.

Also: Elric's race sounds a lot like elves to me ... whatever they are, they aren't human ...

You could always try to make a Geralt of Rivia (witcher) character. Would probably be a ranger/sorcere or fighter/sorcerer LN/TN at 16/18/16/12/16/18 or something like that. Undead focus if ranger; dual-wielding and longsword speciaization; potion-brewing.

I'd have to work out detail and see if he fits the D&D model well. I also wonder if TOEE had any silver swords? Might have to go with holy sword instead...

BTW I've always wanted to make a fighter character using battle fans. Have they been made available through regular traders, or is the only way still to console them in. What about masterwork fans? (sorry for off-topic)
