co8 5.0.0 requires a play disc and i just downloaded the game from new egg. So when i got to Launch ToEE with co8-5.0.0 its says "please insert ToEE play disc". I dont have that so now im stuck in the middle of step 6 in "Comprehensive ToEE Installation Instructions by Zebedee". I dont know what to do now ...any insight would be appreciated
well i just went ahead and installed 5.0.6 and started the game with the toee exe. On the menu screen it says version 5.0.6. and i didnt start it with the frontend. i guess ill see how this works out.
If ToEE keeps telling you to insert the play disc (it did for me even when I had the disc in the drive) you may need to get a no-cd crack. You can google it, just be sure to get the patch2 version that is only about 38kb in size. It's a sad commentary on the issues in this game that a legitimate user has to do something like that...
Thanks i found the no cd crack. Yea it is pretty funny that i have a authentic copy of the game but i need to delv into piracy to make it work haha.
