Are both things implemented actually? I believe i used aid another way back around 2005 when i played TOEE the last time, without Mods however. Could be mistaken in that... Improved shieldbash is a selectable Feat. I dont use it cause it has no description and shieldbash was never available nor metioned anywhere. I used the search and read through the co8 5.00 files but could not find anything about it so.. enlight me please... anyone
As far as I know Aid Another is implemented only for Search action and is automatically executed when any PC attempts search. Improved Shield Bash does not function (well it is obvious from the game itself as there are no "non-improved" shield bash action), but I can not pinpoint thread where I saw info on the feat (it said the feat was there for test purposes. And later it was accidentally NOT removed). Well, maybe someone with more knowledge will answer.
Improved Shield Bash was indeed only added for testing purposes: sorry if you took it. It should NOT be present in the latest .dll (with 5.0.6). Were you using the latest CMF?
i use 5.0.5 build 06.08.08 isnt that the lastest one? oh i see, theres already a new one:roll: Can i patch it and use my old saves?
Yeah, if they were truly incompatable you would have seen a message saying "the save is corrupted" or something like that. Still, it would be safest if you start fresh. .dll modding is always a very major thing.
