A few minor quibbles that need to be fixed:

    * Shocking Grasp does not function in accordance with D&D rules. The effect should be instanteous - in the same round as the spell is cast.

    * Druid shapeshifting and Animal Companions are not really in accordance with the rules - though they do play fairly well in ToEE. Animal Companions should get supplemental hit dice, in accordance with their ability ranking. I.e., even the Chicken should get extra hit dice for higher levels. ToEE does not show animal stats, but the lower-level companions do not seem to keep pace with the higher-hit-dice creatures, as D&D rules specify.

    * Druid Wildshape is supposed to give the Druid the same attacks as the animal in question. Instead, ToEE gives the Druid a single (subject to base attack bonus additional attacks) attack at d3 + Strength modifier. This makes animal shapes much less useful than they should be.

    * Also, there does not seem to be any difference between "Panda Bear" and "Brown Bear", though they come at different levels.

You guys do a fantastic job! I would like to help out more, if I had the technical skills to do so. Thanks!

I duuno about all that other crap, but here is a screen capture of a chicken familiar that survived a direct hit from a major 3rd level spell cast by a 10th level Wizard. Something MUST be working correctly. And that's one tough bird!

Don't worry; I'm sure it didn't burn to death. It was probably made that way by beating and/or stomping before the fire got it. :flamed:

Thank you for your input Joseph McCord.

These are all issues that we are aware of, however, and unfortunately they are beyond our capabilities to fix at this time. If it were otherwise, we would have fixed them long ago (except for the Panda Bear thing - that has been fixed and will be in the next release).

I must say that so far the response you have gotten to this thread has been unusually polite. We routinely get new people who have no idea what is involved in modding ToEE showing up here at the forum and posting laundry lists of things they think need to be fixed, and then throwing a token "You guys are great" at the end. Invariably the things they want fixed are well known bugs and beyond our capabilities at the moment to fix, something they could have discovered had they taken the time and effort to look around the forum for a while before posting. Usually the responses to these threads are not pleasant attempts at humor. Spike must be getting soft. :poke:

Nah, Spike just likes that foto with the burning chicken in it and became side tracked as he was fascinated with posting that foto...dazed and confused.

I fear that because folks don't search, they'll never see the harsh realities of life. The chicken is alive, and on fire. ToEE will never be completely perfect.

    Deal with it.

BTW, I'm usually not the mean one when it come to this...

    *cough...Blue...cough*

He just prefers irony and/or sarcasm to violent imagery.

Would it not be possible to hack in a pair of boots, or ring, or something that increased movement rate by a flat 40ft. You would have to take it off when you changed out of wild shape, but at least while you were wild shaped it would be possible to move effectively. Hell, even if the ring just gave you the ability to wildshape infinite times per day, you could at least change shape every time you got into a fight to insure that the speed was correct.
