Hi! Indeed great work! But i have an issue. I cannot get rid of patch 3. When i install patch 2 on it it says that: unknown version of aplication E:\ the Temple of Elemental Evil\ToEE.exe. Any ideas?:tired:
You could try installing patch 1 over 3, then upgrade to patch 2. If that fails, you may have to uninstall the whole thing and install from scratch.
I have another problem. Because i bought game already patched to 3 and uninstaling the game will be not to good idea.:tired: And i have no idea where to download patch 1.0 polish version.:questionm And i have polish version of the game what i must do to change to english version?
Well, first of all, I never knew there was patch 3 for the Polish version. Where did you get your ToEE from? CD-Action, or Extra-Klasyka? Anyway, both should be patch 2 versions. I helped a guy from CD-A to run this stuff on his computer so that he could write a review of the modpack... hmm which reminds me, I've got to buy the new issue and see if it's there. Well, first of all try downloading the patch from here: http://www.gram.pl/pliki_szczegoly.asp?id=321 If that doesn't work try installing Co8 5.0.0 and an older CMF than 5.0.5 (I think that 5.0.2 is the most stable to this date) without applying the patch. Then go back and tell us what's going on.
What kind of errors? If you are having problems with the Temple Front-End then everything is fine (sic!). But first tell us what's going on. Step by step. Oh, it might help if you told us what OS you are running. XP? Vista? ME?
0004 : Error : One of the game folders can't be accessed! Make sure that no other application uses any of the game folders, then try again. [ first error appears when i try to lunch the game ] [ error two is with that frontend that appears when i click on the Co8 ] I have Windows XP Profesional
OK. Than everything is fine. I have this problem too. Go to your ToEE directory and change the name of the following folders: <toee root directory> "data" to "data.toee" "data.co8" to "data" <toee\modules> "toee" to "whatever" "toee.dat" to "whatever.dat" "co8.5.0.0" to "toee" "co8.5.0.0.dat" to "toee" Now go to your new "toee" directory in "modules" and copy the file "temple.dll" to your ToEE root directory. Now, run the game through ToEE.exe and everything should work fine. Oh, if you want to change the number of PCs/NPCs in your party don't use the Front-End. Use the PC count patcher instead. If Front-End acts up like that it's best that you don't use it at all because it MAY mess up your install. Also be sure to turn autosave off as well as any disk space scanning software (such as antiviruses) or it will corrupt your saved games.
Hmm... OK, try one more thing. Go to: "toee\data\scr\co8\ and run the delpyc.cmd Copy it to "data\scr\" and run it again. Close the directories and run the game.
Hmmmm! But i don't have folder named co8 in scr folder.mg: delpyc.cmd... nowhere. there is no folders in scr folder only many many data aplications.:transform
