Has this ever happened to anybody else?... In the midst of saving a CO8 game, the program unexpectantly shuts down... When I reload the program, all works fine EXCEPT the current game I intended to save, corrupting the file!!!! Since I was required to shut off autosave in order to play CO8 mod pack 5.0, the game I've worked so long and hard on has now been rendered useless... :no: UNLESS someone may know how to fix this error. If this is the case, I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions!!!
This has happened to me, but only during the 4.0 Co8 mods. Try looking if you still have any extra Co8 4.0 in your folders, then if not, that means it is a serious glitch in modding, or perhaps it's in the original game?:yeaaa:
This has always been a buggy game. The modders have done wonders to correct what errors they could, but sometimes things just happen like that. Unfortunately, no one has had much success with restoring corrupted saves. You will probably have to start over. The only advise I can really give is in future games, use at least 3-4 saves instead of only one and overwrite the oldest. I actually use 7 in my games. (That is how many will fit on the screen without scrolling down.) Sorry I don't have better news for you.
