Scorching ray or acid arrow

    Using the spell filter at d20srd, you get a huge list of spells that aren't subject to SR. However, most aren't really combat spells or obviously have no SR issues facing them, or else just aren't in ToEE. Here's the ones I think it'd be good to know about not dealing with SR:

    * Acid Arrow
    * Acid Splash
    * Dispel Magic
    * Entangle
    * Fire Seeds
    * Fire Shield
    * Flame Arrow
    * Glitterdust
    * Grease
    * Web

    The reason Acid Arrow bypasses spell resistance is because it's a Conjuration. You don't actually directly affect the target with magic, you simply conjure an item and use THAT to harm the subject.

    Yeah, it's a LAME rationale, but it's the one WotC has given ... several times.
