Disable intro movie? Moebis temple dll patch?

Hello all I just recently got this game and have the Atari patch 2, CO8 3.o4 patch and the temple dll patch.

1: Is there any way to disable the intro movie as I am sick of seeing it?

2:In Moebis(sp) temple dll patch there are loot.txt,monk.txt and a couple of other *.txt files where do those go if anywhere?

There is a read me file but I cant open it *.ME what program do I need to open it?

An easy way to disable moves you're tired of watching is to simply rename them. Look in the game's \data\movies directory. The filenames are pretty self-explanatory.

Any file like read.me is usually a flat text file (*.txt) in disguise. Use notepad or something similar to open it.

Notepad worked for the read.me. It said to install the *.txt files as they are small fixes but I do not know how to.

They are just a bunch of number lines.

 

Most of the other txt files are just exact details on what modifications to the dll code were made for that particular fix (the numbers are hex with assembly code instructions). I'm happy that moebius has done meticulous documentation. In case if someone wants to check on what actually was modified, it's pretty much easier that way.

In short keep the files somewhere handy for reference if needed. They aren't necessary for gameplay though.
