http://www.rpgcodex.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=22052 Yes, apparently Bioware programmer David Gaider is working on a NWN2 module. That module just happens to be Return to the Keep on the Borderland. Oh, and Merry Christmas guys and gals :joy:
Good on him Our version of KotB features a few of the characters from 'Return to...' (Reece, Sabine, others) as well as a couple of locations from or inspired by moments in 'Return to...' (The Lizardman Refuge, the Shy Tower). Otherwise we try to stick closely to the original (albeit heavily expanding it) and only used the sequel piecemeal.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, fellow modders! And lurkers, and -why not- everyone else! I sure wish I didn't so completely despise NWN2. I barely got into Chapter 2 before giving up on it. I'm sure the modding offers loads of possibilities, but until the combat is overhauled (ie. never), I won't be installing it again. If anyone is in the mood for something refreshingly new and fun, Mount & Blade is free to play until level 6. It's about 75% combat simulator, but WHAT a simulator.
Yeah, MnB is a good game in that regard. Anyone seen the new Age Of decadence video? It is featured here: http://www.irontowerstudio.com/screenshots.htm Big bloody thing though, and they have yet to include sound effects ingame, but it is shaping up very nicely.
