Hi, First off, thanks for all the hard work patching this great game! My question: Should a Druid be able to use all kinds of armour when he adds a level of fighter? The proficiency appears after taking the fighter level, but I am unable to equip the metal armour types. I'm unsure of the 'correct' D&D rules on this. Thanks
In PnP, a Druid/Fighter can *wear* metal armor, but loses his druid abilities, and they stay gone for 24 from the time they take it off again. Having the proficiency doesn't negate the druid's requirement to avoid metal armor. -Auldar
which is rather stupid considering metal is natural. And working leather or wood into armour is just as unnatural as working metal into armour. This is just an arteficial prevention of druids wearing armour (just like the arcane spell failure) introduced to balance the classes, it doesnt make sense but it helps balance the fact that a druid can wild shape. (I think clerics are overpowered though and wild shape overrated)
