I've just started using Prishella. I used two first level spells from her wizard side. Then I used two from her sorcerer side. I then was given the red notice that I had no more sorcerer spells, even though my counter showed I had only used 2/4. Is this normal or a bug? It seems kind of dumb to go sorcerer wizard if you can't have extra spells...
This was fixed by Spellslinger. Look for Atari\Temple of Elemental Evil\5.0.x Notes\Spellslinger's Notes\multicaster_sorcerer_spellcount_fix.txt. If you don't have that file, you will need to upgrade ToEE with the latest CMF. If you do have it, you may need to reinstall.
Prishella spell bug part deux She can't seem to read wizard scrolls when she already has the corresponding sorcerer spell. I am speaking specifically of charm person that prishella starts with. You can't record charm person into your wizards book
Re: Prishella spell bug part deux You don't have to start a new thread to ask these, you know. If you are finding spell bugs with Pishella, then one 'Pishella spell bugs' thread will more than suffice. Have you patched to the latest version of the CMF? (5.0.4)?
Pishella doesn't 'come' with Scribe Scroll: maybe the sorcerer in her needs it to be in the protos.tab. Spugnoir doesn't have it either, and can scribe, but sorcerers might need it spelled out (so to speak).
Mmmmh...i think i had a similar problem one of the first time i've played... I had a cleric/wizard and i recall not being able to read a scroll to put it in my book. At that moment i thought it was a bug...just used normally. But the cleric was in fact of Boccob, it has the magic domain, and some arcane wizards spells belong to that domain... I can't recall which scroll it was, could it been invisibility because i never bought it, i wait to find it as i don't find much use on it... Could it be that if another class has the spell, then it cannot be read if you are also a wiz? Has if the system assumed that you already know that spell..
Yeah thats basically what I said (although interesting that it doesn't work for PCs either). Scribe Scroll looks like it has to be given as a feat specifically, not just 'assumed' - that works for a Wizard but not for other classes. I haven't checked but the Wizard one might actually be a seperate feat in the engine, the way 'TWF' and 'Ranger bonus TWF' are two seperate feats in the game engine.
