When i use the circle of 8 mod the magic missle spell lets me shoot about 500 missles at a time How can I fix this?
I saw the common solutions thread, but I didn't understand the terminology. Can anyone give simple instructions on how to correct this?
Okay, if I understand this correctly, here's what you need to do. Go into your ToEE root directory and look for the TOEE "application" icon. Place your mouse over it or right click it and see what size the file is. Mine is 1.65 MB. If yours is 2.00 MB or more, then you should delete it and install the No-CD crack. Hopefully Zebedee will drop by and tell me if this is correct.
When you apply the Atari Patch2 to the default installed game of ToEE, the Patch2 removes the Temple.dll from the ToEE.exe and the ToEE.exe becomes smaller in file size. For example, if you buy a version of the ToEE game over the Internet and download it from the Internet, the DLL is in the ToEE.exe executable and, sometimes, the Atari Patch2 does not work on that version of ToEE.exe executable and you need to replace the original ToEE.exe with the no-cd version of ToEE.exe.
Simplest solution is to follow stickied install instructions exactly. Otherwise, it's as Krunch says and could cause some problems if you mess up if you find it hard to do without very specific instructions
