    if you do that make sure you also make it so it can grant you total cover (which atm it doesn't do.

    Total Cover
    If you don’t have line of effect to your target he is considered to have total cover from you. You can’t make an attack against a target that has total cover.

    The CMF also contains the "patchwork" armour
    that Ted requested for KotB however, there is no
    reference to it in meshes.mes, materials.mes, and
    addmesh.mes. I know that it hasn't been assigned
    with stats yet and was meant to be KotB exclusive,
    but since it's present in the CMF the lines in .mes
    files should stay and be available for modders and
    their future mods.

    Just a thought, though. ;)

    EDIT: Hmmm it turns out the armour is there... there
    is one thing missing though. Entries to my new armours
    in the meshes.mes

    Re: 5.0.4 bugs.

    For the 3rd time in a a row, I get a CTD when i'm in the Welcome Wench and I check the spells in an inventory. Only in the Inn, nowhere else, and it doesn't seem to matter which character it is. Totally random. Weird.

    @maggit, no probs dude, coule you email me that file you uploaded in the submissions thread to mu hotmail account please? the attachment appears to be corrupted (probably a server related problem).

    @wizgeorge, sorry I moved your post from an inappropriate thread to this correct thread...

    ..I've not had problems viewing my spell lists in the Inn yet with this build, perhaps it's your install that's the problem? I've not changed anything in the Inn and AFAIK no-one else has either, can anyone else confirm wizgeorge's CTD report?

    Hi, just installed 5.0.4, have never used any version of mod before, really enjoying it, but keep getting random CTD whenever i enter a new map. It's not consistent, but seems to occur with more regularity in verbobonc. any solutions short of reinstallation? Everything was installed fresh and in accordance with the instructions.

    @taaa; just so we know, you did install Atari patch 2 and the Co8-5.0.0 mod before 5.0.4 right?

    I've just been through the whole Co8.5.0.4 and only suffered CTD's in the fire node and only on my new laptop which I found quite strange.

    @allyx, thanks for the reply, first i did a fresh install of toee, then did patch 1, then patch 2, then installed 5.0.0, started 5.0.0 once to make it the active module, then installed 5.0.4

    For the most part, the game works, but when i went to verbobonc (which i was surprisingly was able to go to via the map screen), after clearing out the drow, kept getting ctd's when trying to go to the white dragon. went back to an earlier save game and was able to complete that part, but then kept getting ctd's when trying to leave the screen full of spiders. tried several other savegames, but couldn't get any to work. finally gave up and left verbobonc (via the map screen), now back in the temple and haven't had a ctd yet.

    I'm technically challenged, how do i open the mod after I download it, my computer says it is a rar file and doesn't recognise it.

    I am not seeing the new option in the dialog. I only get the old cheesy lines above. (I can't even get that much unless I have not done any of the quests involving the traders and/or courier.) Not only that, but now that the badger comes in to break up the fight and let the traders summon reinforcements, they won't cut and run to trigger the Target of Revenge, either.

    I understand this is a long-standing problem, just wanted to report that it does not appear to be as fixed as I had hoped after reading Allyx's comments in the other thread.

    I am using the 5.0.4 CMF from 5-20-07, with the map cache clearing option set in TOEEFE.

    @erkper: Rar files are archives like zip files, you need a tool to open the archive. WinRar is a good one available at download.com, there's a few around though so grab whichever one appeals to you.

    Thanks for the heads-up, erkper. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression in that quote, but I'm pretty sure that this change hasn't made it into the latest CMF release yet.

    Speaking of which, this is probably as good a place as any to notify everyone that we may be entering a slow phase with the CMF again due to some unavoidable circumstances. Not sure how long this will last; just bear with us please.

    Indeed, I'm afraid that real life has jumped up and bit me on the ass in a most world altering way, and as such will be unable to mod for the forseeable future, I can say that I have fixed that issue, and I'd swear I uploaded the files required to fix it somewhere, perhaps some other modder could carry the CMF torch for a while?

    Ah, I see. No problem, Gaear and Allyx - I can wait until the next "break in RL" gives someone a chance to update the CMF.

    I guess if I had paid more attention to the postings' dates, it would have been obvious the traders fix hadn't made it into the 5-20 update.

    Is there a 'bug' in that a party can get behind the electric trap in the temple and are then unable to do anything else?

    Should an evil party guided by Hedrack have the trap disabled or be told how to disable it from the other side?

    I have no answer to these questions but said I would raise them and look into them myself too.

    Need to get back into the saddle as I have a bit of free time coming up (Hurrah!).
