Hey, I got the Polish version of the game. Any PL mods I can apply to it that can polish (pun intended) the game? What's with the Co8 mod? Or the humble NPC mod? I tried to install the English version but all I got was a complain that it's the wrong version. And while I'm at it, how does a NPC that joined my party sells his/her garbage? Or better: where? Thanks in advance
There's lots here. The search feature will be your friend; as, I suspect, maggit will be. He is the know-er and do-er of all things Polska among the Co8. Our "Knight of the East", so to speak. Look him up. aper:
And me 'cos i have also a polish version of TOEE and I am polish too. You can apply CO8 mod to TOEE but you have to not install TOEE Front end during installing TOEE (just uncheck it) unless you want have problems 'cos I had. And about NPCs- you have to talk with them if you want buy their stuff.
But this will screw up the game, resulting in having half of the text in English, won't it? I don't mind English, but I like consistency. Besides, I deliberately bought the Polish version as I'm learning that language now and playing the Polish version is sorta learing it the soft way . The search function didn't come up with much, that's why I thought posting it could help. Does anybody know if Maggit's still working on the translation of Co8?
The project is at a stop right now. I simply don't have time for it. The even worse part is I lost some of the data I translated. :/ To be clear, I forgot to upload the menus in the newest release and after formatting my hard drive and my backup discs becoming corrupt I was unable to retrieve it. Well, you can play the mod with most of the dialogues done for Hommlet for now. I'll be surely coming back to the translation when I have time. Maybe somewhere around the second half of June (I'll be after my exam session yay!).
