I've run into a series of problems with spells that have multiple targets. For example, Haste, when I am around 7th or 8th level, I have to choose to haste an enemy in order to cast the spell? I run 6 PC's, no summoned beasts usually, and have problems when I get to 7+ in level using some spells. I can only imagine how tricky it will be to cast a mass bear's endurance or bull's strength.

The question I guess is this:
Is it possible to have a spell cast with fewer than the maximum targets?

Yes- just click on the green circle icon above the caster's portrait and the spell will go off with only the targets you have currently selected.

And if that doesn't work- sometimes Chain Lightning targets are deselected when I point toward the green disk- just hit the spacebar.

Re: have been inspired by 300 to make a weird party(need suggestions)

Yes, sometimes pressing it once just does nothing.
Just keep pressing, it will go away.
