Verbobonc?

    Xanaq, you may want to add the 5.0.1 CMF to your installation as it includes many bugfixes for 5.0.0, anddoes NOT require you to start a new game to take advantage of the fixes.

    Are you sure?

    I thought all above 5.0.0 required restarting your game.

    One irritating bug i got at the moment is that the game crashes when my sorcerer casts Chain Lightning. Well it was ok the first time he cast it, but after then its always crashed.

    Yes I am sure, the 5.0.1 CMF does not require a new game to be started, but depending on where you are in the game you might have already passed the parts that have been fixed.

    I have one question- is there any way to get to verbobonc without having to go to Temple first??

    No, you have to have been to the temple (or at least have learned of it's location) before you can get your group to Verbobonc.

    Noticed one change since installing the 5.0.1.
    The seller of scrolls in Verbobonc now sells them like every other trader, instead of making you go through lists in dialogue like she used to do.

    Btw, is it possibe to Charm the adult white dragon?
    I Charmed some of the baby ones, but im now thinking of killing them off since their breath attack usually hits me when they try to help out in combat, also theyre slow moving things.

    Ok, in the Temple, ive rescued the 2 female prisoners, then the merchants...
    They all let me goto Verbobonc.
    Also, rescued Paida(main quest for my alignment), but she just wanted to be taken to Hommlett/Valden.

    Apart from installing 5.0.3 CMF, is there any way to get to Verbobonc after ive done all this?

    Yes, I think for memory there is a recruitable NPC from Hommlet who will take you there (never been that route but I think that is accurate).

    As Al may well have already said in this thread, Verbobonc was originally designed to have a finite number of visits.

    Well, i found 4 people in the Temple to take me there.
    But these people are all close together, so it doesnt feel right leaving some of them there so you can go there later.
    As a result ive never seen the Master of the Bizare, or whatever that guys called.

    I doubt it. Games getting boring now.
    Just finished it with a 5 dwarf party, and also got a human doing it alone who i want to see finish it too. Might put game aside for a while after that.

    The Hickory Branch MOD becomes available with the Co8 5.0.1 CMF. Also, if you installed the Co8 5.0.2 CMF or the Co8 5.0.3 CMF, you will have the updated Hickory Branch MOD. Plus, if you wait for the Co8 6.0.0 MOD release, there will be a new major upgrade to the Hickory Branch MOD. :D

    I got 5.0.1 now, but i bet i`ll miss Hickory Branch stuff since i dont know much abot it.
    I will probably wait for 6.0.0, any idea of a timescale for its released?
    Not that i mind how long, just wondering. :)
