If you are using the Timed Event Method package it shouldn't corrupt saves. The only way it should corrupt saves is if you installed the individual components, and the scripts using the method, but didn't install the utilities.py that I posted.

As of yet I have heard no reports of the method causing the game to crash, and I have had no crashes with the final version I posted. The method hasn't been tested extensively yet though. I think Allyx is the only one who downloaded the first version. The final packaged version has only been downloaded 9 times, and it mistakenly did not include any of the scripts that would cause the game to use the method without doing so in the console (this is fixed now by the way). So I don't see how it could cause a crash.

Ah, I think I know why. Anyway it's not the case
in my game with your newest timeevent. AxThrower's
Imeryd Respawn uses the TimeEvent script, with the
exception it uses the old version. I would also like to
note that disabling program control helped (well at least
    it seems so). ;P

Update: every save is corrupt :( Definitely an Anti-Virus
    issue. :/

I keep encountering this problem everytime ToEE crashes and I have to reload or after I close the program normally and reload.

The only solution I have found it to run the Co8 installer package again, and then it all just works again.

This is rather irratating though as the damn game keeps crashing on level 4 with that annoying scrolling problem..

I can't think what the Co8 installer program could be changing that causes everything to work.
At first I thought it was the Player Character Cap in temple.dll getting reset to 5 (as all the savegames I'm using at 6PC/2NPC) but I checked that and it wasn't reverting (well, why would it ?)

I reinstalled the mod at least 10 times today...it fixes it everytime...it's just getting tedious, and I'm sure there's a quicker way if only I could figure out what's changing.

How do you manually flush the game cache ?

Just a little more info for y'all regarding saved games. I did shut off the auto save and forgot the quick save in the months I hadn't played so haven't been using it.

I manually saved to three slots while in an interior area. It happened to be in Rufus and Burne's tower as I had been trying to lift Burne's skirt and steal stuff from him. I loaded all of them once and they all seemed to work great. Then I saved to one of the three saved game slots while pick pocketing, and was overwriting it. I think I saved twice before I tried to reload and then my save was corrupt. I tried to open either of the other two slots I had created earlier and had not saved to, and they both were corrupt. After remembering someone mention that interiors have a greater chance of file corruption, I decided I would try and save outside the tower and go in and lift his skirt again. I used the same process, three slots and only used one to save and load from, and I had no corrupt saves for the couple hours I played.

The corruption of all three interior save slots even though I only used one to save and load to is rather interesting. It says to me that somewhere all three slots use a common file or part of a file so that when that file becomes corrupt it kills all three. Next it says to me that something that is saved for those interiors is different or is not saved for exteriors.

Now this is what happened for my saved game corruptions and may not be what others experience, but I am now going to save outdoors and only occasionally indoors. This should minimize the corruption problems for me and I hope this helps someone else. :)

Try doing your saves in the safe places or the Welcome Wench parking lot. I generally do my resting and buffing in the Inn, go out to the parking lot and save before hitting the Nulb road. I've never had a problem saving inside the 3 safe areas, including the safe house in Nulb, and the moathouse tower.
