Sorry to appear hyper-sensitive about this, but maggit is exactly right. I know this isn't the KotB dev forum, but it should be fairly clear that maggit has become something of a specialist at inventory icons. Not to belittle Icy Edge's skills, but a cursory examination of his post history shows that, just as he stated above, he specializes moreso in portraits and textures. What's it all mean? When you ask person A to do job B, person B (who should be doing job B) will likely feel slighted (justifiably so; he's been diligently contributing in that area after all, and taking some pride in his accomplishments), and person A gets distracted from doing job A. It also propagates feelings of indifference when a person's efforts aren't acknowledged - not neccesarily through praise (which I don't think anyone here particularly craves), but through subsequent work assignments that reaffirm his value as a contributor. This may seem trivial, but we've had discussions about development delays recently, among other things, and it's just this sort of thing that ultimately contributes to them, particularly in the cumulative sense. It also works to lower morale. So, can we get our collective acts together in this regard, please? [edit] Now we have three guys working on the same thing? Cap'm, the corporate standard you usually try to emulate would never tolerate this type of inefficiency.
agreed, would be a good thing for us No, I was asking the three of them, which one of you three want to make the new item. Plus, I mentioned ShiningTed has new artistic graphics work he also needs to have done.
mg: I don't think we have to go to quite that extreme, Gaear - we can settle this without actually executing anyone :eyebrow:
here's some stuff i quick-did with the wolf model: the first one on left is a timber wolf as i know it, the second a huskie, and the third i dunno, you can say it's wolf-huskie hybrid! Huskies pulling a 'crayfish sled'
We can use both - imagine a pack of wolves in which every one is different Wolf + huskie? That'd be... ...a wookie.
here's all the wolf textures i've done so far, in addition to this redwolf... btw with the right size fiddling we could easly make some foxes... View attachment Wolves.zip
