Travelling to Verbobonc & Hickory Branch Hy all, My question is the following: I read several times that we could get only a limited options to travel to Verbobonc since a character has to lead us there (the prisoners in the temple). But in fact from the world map I can just click on verbobonc and go there by myself once the female prisoners of temple level 1 gave me the location. Also I read that to get Hickory Branch I need to ask Mona for a challenging adventure. I'm pretty sure I asked her for whatever the gods have in store for me or something. Still I get the option to travel there through the world map whenever I want. Is this normal? 5.03 is great, been playing for a week now and had no problems so far, thanks
Well, with 5.0.2 and 5.0.3 traveling to Verbobonc via the worldmap is normal. Traveling to Hickory Branch via the worldmap should only be possible if you asked Mona for a challenging adventure.
uhmmmmm.......i haven't installed 5.0.2 or 5.0.3 and i'm in a little trouble i rescued Jenna and her friend from level 1 of the Temple and i said i'd take them home, the only problem is there is no Verbobonc on my map....and i can't get rid of them now any ideas?
Talk to them. You should have an option to travel to Verbobonc in their dialog. Before 5.0.2 the only way to get to Verbobonc was through dialog.
ok......i tried talking to them they give me the option of giving them 1000 gp and they'll leave a couple of other options and escorting them to Verbobonc i tried the last and she says that she would show me on my map.....nothing there i went ahead and gave them the 1000gp......they disappeared from the screen but their little boxes where still down at the bottom....no matter where i go......they're just invisible?_O:
I had that problem. A little bug leftover from the original Verbebonc setup. They stay in your party, but aren't technically in your party. They're still there, but invisible, and won't interact with/as part of your party. If you're so inclined, you can just kill them. But, Verbebonc should be marked on your map now.
i tried again and when she says that she'll mark it on my map nothing happens no, still no Verbobonc :dizzy:
starwolf1001: When your at the world map scroll thru the names of map locations on the right, I've had Verbobonc show up there but not in the map picture. You can travel to map locations by clicking on the name of the location.
I am having the same problem. However, I do not think I have the 5.0.3 version. All that I could find was version 5.0.1 when I was installing. I checked in the stickies and in the downloads forum and couldn't find the 5.0.3 pack. I'm probably just blind, but could anybody point me in the right direction?

I had a similar problem in my current game where I'm only using 2 pc's. However I noticed that verbobonc was put on the current map instead of the world map, dont know why it happened since my last runthrough, with a 7 man party I had no problem getting to verbobonc. I used the console to... teleport to verbobonc.
ok....after continuing for awhile i finally got to Verbobonc....took out the drow and the white dragon :largeclap btw.......everyone should try and get one of the invisible girls. the can scout ahead by themselves, open doors and find out were all the bad guys are elvicthr now just to clear out the other three Elemental Nodes and whatever comes next
