Horrible neebie question on Mod Packs

i finally got the "Temple of Elemental Evil" uop and running on my computer (i've had the game for months but it wouldn't work on my old system, so i got a new system)

my favorite game from AD&D so i had to have it, then i learned that you could up your characters, levels, the works so i went searching.....which led me here...everywhere i go says you guys are the best

so....i downloaded the ToEEFE 4.00
and the Circle_of_Eight_Mod_Pack_5.0.0_Final
and the Cumulative_Mods_5.0.3

i just want to know if i'm doing this correct
i install the ToEEFE 4.00 then the Mod Pack 5 Final then the Cumulative Mods?

 

you want the offical atari patch 2 as well which is installed before any of our stuff.

 

Shouldn't the Modpack 5.0.0 be installed before a newer version of ToEEFE? I mean, 5.0.0 comes with a version of ToEEFE. Wouldn't that overwrite the newer one? Sorry if I'm wrong on this. I'm not entirely sure.

yeah could be, I can't actually remember if its optional to install it in the mod pack tho so you could just not install those files.

need to download the Net 2.0
and the game i have is, i believe preloaded upto Patch 3
so next Co8 Mod Pack 5
then the Cumulative 5.0.1
then i play:largeclap

 

actually you still want to install patch 2 to get rid of patch 3 cos it has bugs that we (Co8) have fixed.

 

the "Readme" file on my game talks about Patch 1, 2, and 3 so i'm assuming they are already installed....so i just download Patch 2 and install it to get rid of Patch 3?:twitch:
