Hi all. I have searched but can't find this answer anywhere. Barkskin has always worked fine for me, and it still works on companions. HOWEVER, all of a sudden my druid can't get the spell to work on herself! I have recently hit 9th lvl, so I am wondering if the spell counts as a poison or something (which she is immune to). (I am playing 4.01 and have just entered the earth node but I think it happened in the greater temple as well. I think something had just tried to poison her and it had failed of course. Don't know if any of this is relevant, but its the background.) Any ideas?
Does she have an Amulet of Natural Armour that's as good as or better than the bonus Barkskin would grant? Bonuses of the same type don't stack.
No, mate- I know that (though thanks for the contribution!) I even stripped her completely (ooh-er) to make sure none of her equipment was causing this.
 Not much of a "tree-hugger", then, I take it? Don't blame you...it does sound kinda rough. :cool2:
Well, Miss Druid couldn't receive pro energy spells or healing either as it turned out. (Don't know if this occurred at the same time as the barkskin not working but I suppose its reasonable to assume this). She has just died and been raised though, and now all spells seem to target her correctly. She can get barkskin, healing etc. Is this a variation on the spell permanency bug?
