    Kind of a weird problem:

After progressing for a few weeks in the game (using Patch 2 and Co8 pack 5.0.0), I got fed up with my sorcerer not knowing a few spells, so I used the cheats.all_spells_by_class cheat to see how that would help (since I couldn't find a script to add an individual spell).

Then, I made enough xp to advance another level. Now, when I try to level my sorcerer, I have to select some new spells to learn, and none are available. I lost the savegame from before I used the cheat (my bad!), and I'd really prefer not to have to start over after this amount of time.

Does anyone know a code that will let me strip spells known from a character?

    Thanks!

[edit] P.S. I'm not above using a savegame editor, or hex editing (I have a hex editor application), in addition to/instead of in-game Python code... but I'm also quite unfamiliar with Python code, so any help at all from the geniuses here would be appreciated.

you are as they say, shit out of luck, the only way to get rid of te spells is to remove your character from the party and bring it back in again at level 1.

Well, but then, you can always just use the console to level them back up in line with the rest of your party.

of course, and I gather from his opening post that its not something outside of his alignment restrictions.

Too true. Just a pain to drop some of the spells which I won't have any more... The cool thing about wizards is being able to learn spells from scrolls, but they don't have the on-the-fly versatility of a sorcerer.

Not to be too much of a n00b (having played both D&D and computer games since 1979), but in ToEE, how does one remove and re-add a PC?

    Thanks!

Go to one of the inns in the game. Either the one in Hommlet or Nulb. On the counter, there's a guestbook. Click on that, and it will take you to the party pool.

Well, it won't let me add back in a party member I've removed, even the 1st-level version -- but it wasn't too much trouble to create an identical character.

    Thanks for the assist!

Dude, altho the post before yours was only 19 hours earlier, you post still seems alittle threadromantic to me. Also don't take this the wrong way but what kind of muppet wouldn't think of multiclassing themself. I actually think Wyrm Pilot was lucky to get adivce rather than "cheats never prosper, now go have a cry and a cut you little emo bitch" but apart from that this thread is dead.
