I know it helps with some storylines ect. in the game,,,but is there anything really important i will miss if i skip the minor quests in the village. Thanks for your imput
I've often just headed out to the Moathouse at Level One. If you're skilled and willing to scribe many, many scrolls, it's winable. That said, by skipping all the Hommlet quests, you miss out on about one LU worth of XP for your party, up to four magic weapons depending on how you play it (including two good ones), and (assuming your playing with the Co8 mods) all the new content including two significant magic items introduced by the Desperate Housewives quest, as well as delaying your access to Masterwork Wooden and Metal items later in the game. You don't have to finish all the town quests before heading out and doing some serious combat; you can come back later and catch what you've missed.
i am not playing with the mods so i dont think i will miss out on much,,,thanks guys......i have played the game several times and just get fed up with the back and forth stuff with the quests.
