Okay... I've been playing about with the max stats the game will recognize (per some conversation on GameUniverse)... 45 is the max or things get screwy... I know why to, the Core Rules only list up to 45 in the table in the Player's Handbook... in theory you can go for infinite progression, but I'm willing to bet that Troika only went to 45 because of that table... Not to mention that Spells for Level 6th+ are not present... only the slots for 6th to 8th show... so here's where I need some help... 1) Where do the stat table(s?) show up so that the max stat can be modified upwards (or perhaps add a formula in there to allow for the infinite progression)?? 2) Where are the spells listings (and related links) so that we can work on getting 6th+ level of spells into the game?
Forgot as well... IF the character cap of 10 is removed... somewhere it will have to tell the program that at level 20 the primary hand attack reiteration is only 4 (feats allow for more + the offhand attacks)... Epic Level rules have a 4 cap on the primary hand without feats adding to that... And then you get into the Save and BAB progessions (which ties into the max attack cap from Epic Level Rulebook)....
I don't want to rain on your parade, but there are more critical problems than this.. Swinging for this type of home run on our first at bat ins't a good idea IMO.. Like you said there would be a ton of edits required to make this happen.. Lets fix bugs, and get familiar with what edits where do what to the game.. Then we can talk about making an > level 10 expansion pack.,.
Oh I agree, I'm not asking for anyone to jump on this right now... more of an FYI as people are poking into things, just something to keep in mind.
