    Okay.

    Combat Reflexes: Yes, characters with Combat Reflexes can make AOOs while flatfooted. This bug was either misreported or has been fixed.

    ADDRESSED

    ==================================================

    Orc Prisoners: The hitpoints for the Orc Prisoners was fixed in Co8 5.0. (I had removed their set HP totals for the 5.0 release, so the engine would have generated them randomly. For Frenzied Wombat, I'm going to assign them average hp for their level.)

    ADDRESSED

    ==================================================

    Crafting: The game will not allow you to craft a weapon or armor beyond +10 worth of total enhancements, as per the rules. It also requires the Caster level of the creator to be 3x the plus total (but not the overall enhancement total) of the weapon, which is again correct.

    However, as reported, crafting an item to +10 enhancements results in you actually earning XP and gold for the final crafting, which is a bug.

    ADDRESSED

    ==================================================

    Also, I will have to double-check, but it looks like the game requires a weapon to be made Frost before Icy Burst can be applied. This is incorrect per the rules. Shock and Shocking Burst work as they should. I haven't checked flaming and flaming burst as I didn't pump my test caster up to level 12. Will check this at a later date, but right now I need to sleep.

    Okay, after the "White Dragon as NPC" thread, I'm reporting this as a bug.

    Suggestion allows the player to add any creature as an NPC to the party. This is the equivalent of Dominate Monster, which is a 9th level spell.

    Here's how Suggestion is supposed to work according to the rules:

    As I mentioned in one of the other modding threads, Suggestion could be implemented in ToEE as functioning similar to Command, in that there would be a list of Suggestions that could be made selected by the player. Though I'm open to other options.

    However, if this change is made, we will need to keep the old Suggestion around for creatures like the Balor who should have Dominate Monster as an ability, but are currently using Suggestion.

    Not sure if it's ever been posted, but when all PC characters have
    the effect of fear bestowed on them, while in combat, the radial menu
    seems to show the first PC's (it was a cleric in my case) options, skills,
    spells and portrait despite the fact that its the turn of another spellcasting
    character.

    Flame me if you must.

    Easy solution: why don't we just turn Suggestion into Dominate Monster? One more 9th level spell in the book, one less 3rd level spell.

    Then, if anyone ever cares to create Suggestion as it should be, they can do so from scratch. Otherwise we do without.

    Works for me. I'll have to take a closer look at it to make sure it fully replicates Dominate Monster, but it sounds like the best suggestion (no pun intended). However, we'd have to go through the game and find NPCs with the Suggestion power/spell and determine if, like the Balor, it should be replaced with Dominate Monster, or swapped out for a different 2nd/3rd level spell.

    Might want to throw up a poll on the issue somewhere too, so we don't become the 'good ol' boys network.' ;)

    Actually this added functionality for Read Magic was a feature of the first Co8 patch. Marking bug 374 as misreported anyway because the lack of Knowledge Arcana / Alchemy in the game isn't really a bug by the strict definition.

    btw, Thanks for checking all these, Aeroldoth. :thumbsup:

    The corresponding thread over in GM seems to have died, so this has been added as bug 046 here.

    Gaear, you said initially that you didn't want us reporting bugs here, just responding to the atari list. DO you want us to report bugs here?

    I've got a few bugs in my recent game (patched up to 5.0.2)

    1) When a PC passes though a door (without opening it) and combat immediately starts, the door become unopenable in combat mode

    ADDRESSED

    ==================================================

    2) The ability damage icon appears when the PC took zero points of damage

    ADDRESSED

    ==================================================

    3) Unlocked chests become locked again after a few days

    ADDRESSED - not a bug

    ==================================================

    4) PC when resting in a yellow area occasionally becomes diseased (not sure if this is a bug)

    ADDRESSED - not a bug

    I ran into this one in the Verbebonc Underdark. My Cleric ran right through the door and got attacked by spiders...

    ADDRESSED

    ==================================================

    I've had this pop up a few times even when my character didn't have any ability damage. It went away the next time I rested though, even though no ability points were recovered.

    ADDRESSED

    ==================================================

    For me, they always became locked again immediately after I unlocked them. I just thought it was part of the game.

    ADDRESSED

    ==================================================

    Was it filth fever? If so, it's not a bug. Just, most yellow areas are extremely filthy...

    Sorry if I've been unclear about that. I didn't want any new bug reports until the old list had been fully transfered over here. It has been, so yes, now everyone should feel free to post new bugs here.

    The only guidelines that apply are that bugs reported here should be specific to the game and engine in general, like those posted by Vash_HS above. Anything that seems to have to do with Co8's modded elements should go over in the latest mod's bug reports thread in General Modification.

    Also, please only post reports that you have substantiated through a reasonable amount of testing, and please check first to see if the bug you're reporting is already listed. i.e., there should be no 'there's a lot of lag in the nodes' posts or 'I can't get to Verbobonc' posts or 'I'm not sure but I think Charm Person might be broken because it didn't seem to work the one time I tried it' posts.

    Lastly, if you do post a new bug, it will probably be listed as unconfirmed until someone else can reproduce it on a different system, depending on the circumstances and the credibility of the poster.

    ==================================================

    What door? The only doors I've ever seen PCs pass through without opening them are the magically held ones. If you post the when and where, we'll see if it can be reproduced.

    ADDRESSED

    ==================================================

    This has always been this way. Not a bug.

    ADDRESSED

    ==================================================

    There's always a chance of becoming diseased while resting in unsafe (and unclean) areas. Not a bug.
