I apologize if anyone already posted this, but did you see the article in PC Gamer that discusses the removal of kids and the brothel in the game? To quote: "Some missing content remains, although it's inaccessible, which has inspired at least on unofficial hack to reinsert the brothel." Cool mention, tho indirect and not by name. Presumably it's c08 they refer to. beest
Such dorks they are for not mentioning us directly. At least that French magazine mentinoed us and gave us actual credit. You know what, PC Gamer's taking a tad too much money from Atari.
When I read that article, I knew it was Co8 they were talking about. Too bad they didn't give any props, more people could have enjoyed the great work from everyone that contibuted here. oh: It might not be much, but I for one appreciate the hard work that everyone has done here and would just like to say, THANKS!!!
The lastest issue of CGW mentions the Circle of Eight. In their "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" section under "the bad", fans forced to make game patches. They thought it was pretty shameful that fans had to make their own patch, later they game the game 2 1/2 otu of 5 stars. I would say I agree. It is cool when people do mods but they shouldn't have to actually do patches. It is sad that I come here looking for fixes instead of the offical forums since I have no hope they will do a second official patch. Troika people seem pretty silent on the Atari boards too.I guess no "unofficial" second patch from them. Thankfully the Co8 exists, making the game enjoyable. Keep up the good work. You guys deserve some recognition from Atari/Troika.
