I was looking through the program files adn noticed that theres portraits for a red dragon. I was wondering where said red can be found as i would like to pick a fight.
The red dragon is not implemented yet. The portraits were added to support the future addition of said dragon.
Dragons Beware. LOL Sounds like we might not only be knighted but become dragonslayers extrodinare. LOL
if they don't slay you first... when you run into a family unit... you just might end up on THEIR plates for dinner.... 2 whelps, 1 adult, and 1 old Dragon attacked me the other day when I was wandering around wondering what i was going to have for dinner...
IMHO, 1 adult dragon is enough to provide a decent fight for the respawn, especially if it prebuffs itself via dialogue.
As I said I was looking for something to eat... thought about feeding on the GAR carcas but it had already started to ROT... (actually, it is something that Allyx and I are working on, something that might need to be revisited if/when it is finished/approved)
Have I told you guys that you absolutely rock? Kinda-sorta on the subject, I noticed now that I've actually progressed a bit in the game (I've owned it for. . . say, two years now, and haven't even made it through the Moathouse until recently) that the random encounters seem to be the same-old, same-old. Your level 5 party still gets attacked by skeltons and goblins and riff-raff like that. Any plans to release more challenging monsters, and perhaps a level-scaled random encounter chart to make encounters with these harder monster more likely at higher levels, and encounters with time-wasting monsters less likely/nonexistant?
a little sneak peak... had to move the text over to the side as I'm having a little problem with the placement/height of dragons otherwise unaltered (planning on looking at white dragon setup)
I believe CtB has tweaked the random encounters so they will start to be more challenging to higher-level parties. You should start seeing tougher opponents soon. Just as an aside, when the tougher encounters do kick in, you may (depending on your Survival skill) have an option to fight X number of this or that monster - but with CtB's change, there may actually be more than that number of monsters!
