Bashing Chests

    I was just wondering if it was possible to bash chests open? I went with Fighter, Barb, Rang, Cleric, Wizard for my part thinking I could just bash em in. If not I have to go recruit that npc thief from Hommlet (The horror!) thanks in advance.

    If you want to get away without using an NPC you could always just use your mage with open cantrips and an occasional knock spell.

    I have yet to enter the TOEE itself yet but have done most of the rest of the game and have only come across 1 trap which was fairly meager so I wouldn't worry to much about them.
