hello, i am currently playing the game with the normal level cap of 10, but i was wondering...will i get utterly destroyed with only level 10 characters with the co8 mod, or is it feasible? thanks!
The game was designed to only allow characters of up to 10th level when it was released so you certainly can beat the game at that level, you'll have plenty of spare XP for your item crafters to craft some really nifty items and weapons for your group. Personally I play without the level cap, and I've had a group of 5 PC's with 3 NPC's (who joined late in the game) upto level 15 before the end of the game before.
i just completed the 5.0.0. mod. I had 5 players and Elmo and my highest charactors level was 11th(thief). I dont think you will have any problems with your cap leveler on. By the way has anyone been able to kill Iuz in the new mod ?
I did give it a rather pathetic attempt... I think I managed to do a grand total of 1hp damage to him before Cuthbert appeared and saved my ass... :aaaa: This was with my good party of 6 @ level 11/12 IIRC And then there was the time I got ToEE confused (forgot what I did) and ended up with 3 hostile Cuthberts after the encounter... squish! :suprised: I'll give it a go with my evil party of 4 when they get that far, but I very much doubt I'll be able to make a dent in Iuz...
Big chap, kind of grumpy, likes killing stuff. :yes: More seriously, he's a god-type thing who you can meet. Used to be possible to kill him. Bit harder to do that now.
About the only way you can kill Iuz, is have 5 20th level players with Fragarachs/Scathers and 900hp each. Fruella killed him, but she had a 1016hp at level 20. It was close.
