Ok, moving Fruella down in the roster list caused the Nulb quest tab to appear and resolved the "unending" dialog involving the Courtship of Eddie's Father quest (although it was a great cheat for acquiring extra XP for leveling up or for crafting magicked items).

The other bugs I've noted that are still unresolved:

1) My dwarf wizard doesn't get his +2 racial bonus on his Appraise skill.

2) When I finish the quest that allows me to purchase masterwork weapons from Smyth in Hommlet, I can't purchase any more masterwork items if I quit the dialog. That is, if I buy one masterwork item, leave, and then come back. he always wants me to bring him another giant's head in order for him to show me his masterwork inventory. Moving Fruella down in the roster didn't resolve this. Can I get another giant's head, say, from killing Scorp?

Any ideas?
