You just search for the title of a page, and if a page with that title doesn't exist, you are given the option to create it. Unfortunately, the option to make a new page seems to be broken right now. To put the page on the Co8 page, it must have a certain little bit of code at the end of it. Edit one of the existing pages (don't change anything, just hit the edit button) and look at the end of the page to see the bit of code you need. I usually just copy and paste it.
I fixed the "create new page" thing in the search engine. To put a file in the Co8 category, you just add [[Category:Circle of Eight]] at the bottom.
So add them or fix them krunchy that's the beauty of the wiki, we can all edit it we don't have to post it and wait for someone else to do the work
Okay, great - I wanted to make sure Co8 agrees on what files are posted...I'll update wiki for the ground.mes file I referred to above and post it tonight. [EDIT] Nope, Blue will have to upload the ground.mes file. I am not able to upload it. Note: The reason I suggested ground.mes for wiki is because it has the day/night numbers assigned to maps.
would it be an idea to post ALL the *.mes files on the wiki that have been modded - I would do it myself if I had up-to-date files but I don't
I will do it, this time, Krunch. But seriously, anybody can create a page in the wiki. You do have to register first, but after that you can do it. By the way, Troikapedia automaticaly turned map_names.mes into Map names.mes. It just does that. It's not my fault.
Thank you kind sir!.. You are ever so gracious and Das Cerulean!.. I did register a new account on wiki, and I tried to upload the ground.mes where wiki reported MES files are not proper image files (pictures). What you posted reads like we can make a new page in wiki? If so, I take it that means we can create a new page, copy & paste the content of a file local to our computer over the Internet to inside the new file we make on wiki, and, then, save it on wiki with a new name? (That's so cheesey, dude.) If that's the case, next time, I'll do that, instead. :writersbl
is anyone else getting... 404 Not Found The requested URL /troikapedia/index.php was not found on this server. Apache/2.0.52 (Red Hat) Server at www.terra-arcanum.com Port 80 ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? from the link in the first post
Yup, and on the Troikapedia general bit, but not on the main site. Edit: the Troikapedia link on the site is down, but the Co8 link (to here) works
