This game is full of mentions of children, but because a stink was made about the fact that you can Kill them, they were removed from the game to get the M rating reduced to teen. Now I was thinking, someone could go adding gnomes to a few locations in the game that refers to children, clothing them in basic farmers clothing and scattering them around town. They wouldn't even need to say anything and could all share a generic picture, just click on one and have float text pop up saying "Hiya!" or "Wanna' play hide and seek?" It's just a thought, since they didn't feel like removing nodes that mention children. Damn Atari draggin the Wizards of the Coast name through the mud :[
No, actually WoTC is doin that for themselves: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=rpga/membership/writingsoc
seriously man It sucks how all of the cool business are now somebody's bitch. Troika is Atari's bitch, WoTC is Hasbro's bitch. Everybody is gettin bought off.
And as a result games are becoming less a form of art and more a means for some lazy company to use sleezy and often exaggerative advertising tactics to sell a sloppy mess some freelance modder could have one upped. I miss when quality was a major focus, as it was with Torment and Baldur's Gate/
Anywho Anyone able to just slap a bunch of gnomes around town so that the nodes "Is this a daycare?" and "There sure are a lot of children around here" don't come off as the sloppy left overs they are. I actually like this game but whoever made the call to ship it unfinished should be shot.
