Re: Co8 5.0.0 beta 1 thread Here's another bug to report. I'm doing the quest to find the labor problem at the new castle construction in Hommlet. Using the clock to pass time while outside at the new castle construction causes a CTD. It is not just a one time glitch. [EDIT] I can use the clock to pass time anywhere else and it works. It is just in the area of the Moathouse new castle construction. I believe it is an issue with the spawning of the main guy to talk with at the entrance to the new castle construction. Re: Co8 5.0.0 beta 1 thread I am loving the 5.0.0 beta--but I have run into a continual CTD in Verbonc. After taking out the dragons and drow and exiting to Verbonc, whenever I try to leave town or complete the quests by entering any buildings I get a CTD. I have tried all of the fixes and deleted the files as noted by C.B., but to no avail. Any suggestions?? If I could write code I would--but my research and analysis lies elsewhere... Regardless, with the new quests and new bits and pieces, I love the new mod. Before I put in the fixes, I managed to complete the whole game with a NG party and was very pleased with the results! :gotmyatte Thank you guys for the wonderful work and your continued efforts to address the bugs!
Re: Co8 5.0.0 beta 1 thread I found a bug. Rannos and Gremag continued to trade with me even after I ratted them out to Burne. Normally, they yell at you for reporting them and refuse to do business with you. Also, I don't know if the mob for the Behemoth King Frog in Imeryds Run was updated or not. It should have a poisonous bite after my protos.tab update, but it does not.
Re: Co8 5.0.0 beta 1 thread The Cumulative Fixes have been updated to include Allyx's Verbo-mod Fixes Part 2. Also, The momentary nakedness problem with the enemies in the Broken Tower should be fixed now. I check the proto for the Behemoth King Frog, and it still has poison there, so I have also cleared the hard coded data in the MOB. I don't know if this will solve the problem Kalshane (that frog wasn't on you list of critters to fix) but give it a try and see if it does. @Krunch - The Clearing the Moathouse quests has been buggy since it was first introduced (in one of the incarnations of Ted's mod, I believe). There have been several attempts to fix it since then, but I still have that problem too. So, it is indeed a bug, but an old one not introduced by 5.0.0. I don't know what to tell you about the CTD. It doesn't happen for me. I did have to rest several time on a different map before the guy in the laborer camp I had to talk to showed up at night. @Kalshane - I have only had the Traders stop doing business with me after confronting them with being agents for the Temple, never after ratting them out to Burne and Rufus. There dialog has been altered a bit, but from memory I don't think the changes would have effected that. Anybody else had them stop trading after ratting them out to Burne and Rufus?
Re: Co8 5.0.0 beta 1 thread Hmmm.... thats an old bug I found while testing Yvy and the dogs I added. I THOUGHT it was caused by me adding a few kids into the mix, so I removed them. I will test it, and if it is caused by the presence of Yvy or the dogs I will fix them.
Re: Co8 5.0.0 beta 1 thread Have you released the traders? It could be a problem like with Ah Fong. I haven't released the traders yet and haven't had a CTD yet, that is all I think it could be. Right, now to try and fix it.

Try putting these files into you ToEE instalation folder and Please post back any feedback (good or bad). Some other weird little things are happening though. spoilers >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The drow matriarch is lootable, but her red circle never goes away -- even thought she's dead, she is still encumbered. My only dialog choice with Nybble is that I'm still working on the Drow problem, even after I have taken care of it. The dialog choices for wilfrick are only providing him a report, followed by the choices of the 3 reports I have already given him. All in all, an excellent mod. I have thoroughly enjoyed it and I have a feeling I hven't experienced all of it yet.

I'm sure you haven't seen ALL it has to offer, but I want to post as few spoilers as possible, so I'll leave it to surprise you later The matriarch is encumbered because her equipment is flagged NO_LOOT (perhaps I should increase her strength a bit :evil_laug ), the equipment she "drops" is actually created via her san_dying script.
Re: Co8 5.0.0 beta 1 thread Whoops. Sorry about that. Thanks. For me, when I confront them about working for the Temple, I can get them to bribe me to stay quiet. After that they act depressed, but still trade with me. Once I rat them out to Burne, they get angry and refuse to trade with me anymore. In 5.0, they continue to act depressed and still trade with me even after I've ratted them out. Unrelated, did anyone add the mithral plate to any of the merchants? I'm just curious if I'll find someone who sells it or if I'll have to console it in.

I haven't really talked to them in 5.0 since tattling on them, but I haven't had time to play the last few days... sorry (funny that I still have time to check this site though... oh well, that is what office hours are for, right?)
Re: Co8 5.0.0 beta 1 thread If you could, that would be cool. It's still using the generic silver fullplate model (if someone wants to spruce it up look different, that would be cool. Even the gold plate model turned silver would work) but it's damn useful to have. Unrelated, has anyone encountered any magical items that are missing their shift+click description and have the added descriptions been helpful?
