on your weapons it shows how much damage it can do, but what does the number after the comma mean ex. 1d8,20x2. what does the 20x2 mean?

The "20x2" means critical hit damage. A roll of "20" is a potential critical hit, where when confirmed you do "x2" or double damage.

For another example, "2d6,19-20x4" means the weapon does 2d6 damage normally, where a potential critical is a roll of 19 or 20, where a successful critical does normal damage times four.
