I am kinda new to using Character Editors ... last time I did, I seemed to 'botch' things up. Anyone got any help for me in that matter? Here's a few Q's.... (1) I need a good character editor (since there is not much chance of getting enough XP in this short game without monster respawning) to help with gold, XP (mainly), and such. (2) Can you edit a character that you have already been playing or do you need to restart a group? Download and use Ferros Character Editor version 7 to edit new only characters. To edit existing characters requires hex editing the game save data. It requires knowledge most people do not have, even programmers. This can corrupt a game save, too. As far as adding money, search the forums for "console cash" for starters.
I d/l'd the editor (Ferros' v7) BUT can not get it to work....the name's greyed in and no button or such to press to 'implement' the desired changes. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are there any other editors that would help with XP??? I wanted to see what the different characters were capable of since I've beaten the game and just wanna learn more about it, D&D3.5, the characters within, and such. How do you 'console cash' and such? I keep reading about it BUT dunno how....
