Their best 'mettle' is a band? Oooo I'm gonna leave that one alone...

Spike mentioned Physical Graffiti: imagine if u will... <Paul Schaeffer plays dream-time intro music>

Night time. A grand final. 100 000 screaming rugby league fans going berserk, jammed into the Homebush stadium (thats the one we had the 2000 Olympics at here).

For a while, the sound of the fans is all that can be heard. And then...

...no crescendo, this begins at its peak...

Kashmir, bursting forth in all its glory, at a volume to drown the loudest cry.

And in a blaze of smoke and fireworks, out run my mighty Eels!

I don't care that they went on 80 minutes later to lose the 'unloseable' Grand Final - I still have that moment dammit, and nothing can take that away from me!!

    Sports!?! You Hijacker!!!

    :chairshot

Here's something from sporting history not likely to be found elsewhere: Polamalu surfs the crowd in downtown Pittsburgh following the Steelers victory in Super Bowl XL. My sister braved the 20 degree temps to send me this (and a few more). BTW, there is an "Eel" in "Steelers".

For all respect you cannot lust
In an invisible man you place your trust
    Indirect dependency
    Eternal attempt at amnesty
He will decide who lives and dies
    Depopulate Satanas rise
    You will be an accessory
    Irreverence and blasphemy

    One album. :shame:

Have to go with U2, The Joshua Tree. :headfones

But I can think of an awful lot of close seconds.

Anything U2 from Rattle & Hum back.

    Dark side of the Moon
    Momentary Lapse of Reason
    Dookie
    American Idiot
    Hybrid Theory
    Collective Soul (selftiltled)
    So Much for the Afterglow
    Skindive (selftitled)
    Rock Crown
    Fallen
    Greyest of Blue Skies
    Broken in Pieces

The list goes on and on and on. What would life be without music.:twitch: :tombstone
